You are invited to attend the 18th Annual Eugene McCarthy Lecture, a unique event that blends the worlds of law and improv comedy. This program, “Disagreeing Better: Lessons from Life, Law and Improv Comedy,” will be held on Thursday, September 19. We are thrilled to host John Inazu, a distinguished Washington University law professor, First Amendment expert, and author of numerous publications, including the recent book Learning to Disagree.
This will be an extra special evening -- think C-SPAN meets Saturday Night Live -- because Professor Inazu will be interviewed by Tane Danger and joined by the cast of the Theater of Public Policy, a brilliantly funny improv comedy group.
You and your guests are invited to a reception at 5:30 p.m. in the Founders Room, Quad 170, at Saint John’s University. Please register if you can join us. Registering for the 5:30 p.m. reception will include reserved seating at the 7:00 p.m. lecture featuring John Inazu. If you do not register for the reception, seating is first-come, first-served in the Stephen B. Humphrey Theater at SJU for the 7 p.m. lecture.
Please help spread the word about the reception and evening program. We anticipate a full house and appreciate your interest and support! We look forward to seeing you on September 19!
